Adventure Online Pty Ltd (“Adventure Online”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy of individuals and ensuring that all credit-related personal information is managed in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Act), Privacy Regulation 2013 (Regulation) and the Privacy (Credit Reporting) Code (CR Code).
This policy describes how Adventure Online collects, uses, holds and discloses credit-related information in connection with the provision of commercial credit.
This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
What Credit-Related Information We Collect
We may collect and hold information relating to your identity and financial history, including personal identification details; details of credit applied for; repayment history; defaults; insolvency information; information from credit reporting bodies; and any other information needed to assess credit.
How We Collect Credit-Related Information
We may collect information directly from you, from your advisers, credit reporting bodies, other credit providers, trade references, government registers, or third-party service providers acting on our behalf.
How We Hold and Protect Credit-Related Information
We take reasonable steps to secure your information against loss, misuse, unauthorised access or disclosure. Information no longer needed is destroyed or de-identified unless required by law.
Why We Collect, Use and Disclose Credit-Related Information
We use this information to assess credit applications, manage credit accounts, assess guarantees, prevent fraud, recover debts, and comply with legal obligations. Without this information, we may be unable to provide commercial credit.
Disclosure to Credit Reporting Bodies
Adventure Online may disclose credit information to credit reporting bodies (CRBs). CRBs may use this information for credit reporting and pre-screening of direct marketing. You may request CRBs not to use your information for these purposes or not to disclose your information if you suspect fraud.

Exchange of Information with Trade Insurers
Trade insurers may obtain credit-related information to assess insurance relating to credit provided by us.
Use of Third-Party Service Providers
We may disclose information to providers assisting with credit assessment, fraud checks, account management, dispute resolution, and debt collection.
Overseas Disclosure
We do not routinely disclose information overseas but CRBs or providers may use overseas infrastructure.
Access to Your Credit-Related Information
You may request access by contacting our Privacy Officer. We acknowledge requests within 7 days and respond within 30 days unless unusual circumstances apply.
Correction of Information
You may request correction of your information if inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading. We will notify you of the outcome.
Complaints
You may lodge a complaint with us. We acknowledge complaints within 7 days and aim to resolve them within 30 days. If unsatisfied, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at www.oaic.gov.au.
