The brand new Spatz Aquasokz (Lo version) were designed specifically for the Alpecin Deceuninck Pro Cycling Team. The requirement was an aero focussed product that excelled in wet conditions.

Made from 100% waterproof PU-coated Lycra, Aquasokz aren't necessarily designed to keep your feet dry—but to keep you fast and comfortable when the weather turns grim. They're shaped for speed, tested at the highest level, and tailored for the demands of WorldTour racing.

In contrast to the Aquasokz Hi version, the Aquasokz Lo stop at the ankle so you can let your Aero Sokz do their thing.

Aquasokz Lo have been wind-tunnel optimised at the Silverstone Sports Engineering Hub wind tunnel. Results show that Aquasokz Lo offer a marginal aerodynamic benefit over Windsock2 and as such are the perfect choice for wet / cold days or changeable weather conditions. A fast option for events where you want every advantage, but the weather may be less than ideal.

• A very tough velcro fastener tucks neatly behind the cleat/pedal interface to allow easy wearing, tuning of fit and a very aerodynamic silhouette.
• Kevlar toe area to avoid nicks and tears to the fabric.
• Silicone grippers have been placed inside the heel area to lock the booties solid against your shoes. They will not "ride up" your heels during a race situation.
• A subtle reflective logo in mid grey keeps things classy.

Flat stitching around the foot to lay seamlessly against your shoe. A genuinely beautiful design which is a pleasure to wear and use.

Be aware that as a specialist product, Aquasokz are less forgiving in the ankle area than the legendary Windsokz and are as such harder to get on. After use, the fabric becomes much more pliable and they become very easy to use. It is important that these are rolled up your shins BEFORE your cycling shoes are put on.
