Our team reviews all trade customer requests before a website account can be setup and access given. The team reviews and confirms the existence of the following before giving approval:

  • Date of business incorporation / trade history

CREDIT REPORTING POLICY

Adventure Online Pty Ltd (“Adventure Online”, “we”, “us” or “our”) trading as bikebugtrade.com is committed to protecting the privacy of individuals and ensuring that all credit-related personal information is managed in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Act), Privacy Regulation 2013 (Regulation) and the Privacy (Credit Reporting) Code (CR Code).

This policy describes how Adventure Online collects, uses, holds and discloses credit-related information in connection with the provision of commercial credit. This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

What Credit-Related Information We Collect

We may collect and hold information relating to your identity and financial history, including personal identification details; details of credit applied for; repayment history; defaults; insolvency information; information from credit reporting bodies; and any other information needed to assess credit.

Why We Collect, Use and Disclose Credit-Related Information

We use this information to assess credit applications, manage credit accounts, assess

guarantees, prevent fraud, recover debts, and comply with legal obligations. Without this information, we may be unable to provide commercial credit.

Disclosure to Credit Reporting Bodies

Adventure Online may disclose credit information to credit reporting bodies (CRBs). CRBs may use this information for credit reporting and pre-screening of direct marketing. You may request CRBs not to use your information for these purposes or not to disclose your information if you suspect fraud.

We do not routinely disclose information overseas but CRBs or providers may use overseas infrastructure.

Access to Your Credit-Related Information

You may request access by contacting our Privacy Officer. We acknowledge requests

within 7 days and respond within 30 days unless unusual circumstances apply.

Correction of Information

You may request correction of your information if inaccurate, out of date, incomplete,

irrelevant or misleading. We will notify you of the outcome.

Complaints

You may lodge a complaint with us. We acknowledge complaints within 7 days and aim to resolve them within 30 days. If unsatisfied, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at www.oaic.gov.au.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Under no circumstances shall we or any of our subsidiaries or agents be liable for any indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages and to the extent permitted by law and we do not accept any liability for any damage or injury caused by the use or misuse of products purchased from us. We make no warranty as to whether any of the products or services on our website will meet your requirements and you expressly indemnify us in the instance that they may not meet your requirements.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights or remedies under the Australian Consumer Law. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded. Where we are permitted to limit a remedy, our liability is limited to the replacement, the supply of equivalent goods, repair, or refund of the goods.

Any information provided on the site is general information only and not professional advice. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for loss of profit, loss of opportunity, data loss, and any consequential or indirect loss.

Customers are responsible for ensuring product compatibility and correct installation unless otherwise stated. We are not liable for damage resulting from incorrect installation, adjustments, or use.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Queensland and shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.

It is agreed that the laws applicable to Queensland, Australia only will apply in interpreting our agreement and any disputes arising from it.

ACCEPTABLE USE

It is prohibited to attempt to try and circumvent security or illegally gain access to business or customer data. By using this website and engaging with our staff, you agree to:

Credit card payments are processed through a Secure Online Payment Gateway and we do not store any of your credit card or financial information on our servers, therefore ensuring the highest level of protection for you.

We collect information from buyers on our site during online purchasing, to enable a faster and more streamlined purchasing experience. The personal information we collect will typically be used to assist bikebugtrade.com in fulfilling your order as quickly as possible, as well as offer you special promotional offers and exciting product opportunities from time to time.

PAYMENTS & SHIPPING

PAYMENTS

Unless you have a pre-approved business credit terms with Adventure online, all purchases must be paid in full prior to shipping. We reserve the right to cancel any orders in the event we suspect the payment method to be fraudulent.

To protect credit card holders from fraud, we use state of the art fraud prevention systems. If your selected payment type triggers one of these systems, it may put your order on hold. As a result, we may elect to cancel the order and or investigate further. We also use a verification system to confirm the validity of your order. As part of these systems, we may also make a small charge to the credit card used to pay for your order, which is immediately refunded. We will then ask you to supply details of this transaction to verify you are the true card account holder.

When paying via Bank Deposit, use your "Order Number" as the deposit identifier. Putting the name of a purchased item or terms such as “Order Payment” or “Tyres” may cause your order to be delayed until we can match the funds to your order. If a Bank Deposit payment is not received into our account within 5 business days the order will be cancelled.

By purchasing from bikebugtrade.com you are entering into a contract and may not rescind payment via PayPal or Credit Card charge back in the event of late or damaged delivery. While we make every effort to deliver all items to you quickly, we are not responsible for delays caused by Australia Post or other couriers we may use.

You also agree to provide all reasonable information requested by us to assist in resolving any payment disputes or chargebacks and acknowledge that intentional misuse of chargeback processes may constitute fraud. We reserve the right to recover unpaid amounts, including collection costs.

STOCK AVAILABILITY

Some products we offer for trade sale may be pre-order items or items that are not immediately available from our manufacturer or supplier. We supply an estimated receipt date and will generally inform you of excessive delays but are not liable for any direct or indirect damages caused by any delay.

Once the stock is received on our end, we will contact you for payment. We appreciate prompt payment for your order. We reserve the right to cancel any order that remains unpaid and the stock is fully committed to your order after thirty (30) days.

SHIPPING

We make all efforts to ensure that goods are well packaged, so they arrive undamaged. Please contact our customer service team if you have any delivery problems or if the package has been damaged in transit. In the event that the item has been confirmed damaged, a freepost address will be provided for use within Australia. Risk passes to the customer on delivery to the carrier unless otherwise required by the Australian Consumer Law.

bikebugtrade.com will make every effort to dispatch your order as soon as possible, however, due to third party couriers being susceptible to external factors which include, but not limited to labour strikes, natural disasters and supply chain disruptions, bikebugtrade.com cannot be held liable for any loss caused by shipping delays.

Shipping costs fluctuate over time and are subject to influences outside of our control such as fuel, labour and security costs. We always aim to keep these costs low for our customers; however, we will endeavour to pass these charges onto you at cost where possible.

International shipments might be subject to duties and taxes specific to the country of destination and these are the responsibility of the customer. It is against the law to understate the value of items we sell, and we will not do this in any circumstances. bikebugtrade.com accepts no liability for delays in customs processing or handling for international shipments.

You will be charged in Australian Dollars. The amounts shown in foreign currencies are for the purposes of comparison only. The exchange rates used by payment providers and or your credit card provider are not necessarily the same as ours.

RETURNS

If an item is deemed unsuitable for its intended use for any reason as covered by Australian Consumer Law, please contact our customer service department as soon as possible to see if we can organise an alternative arrangement before the returns process takes place.

For goods that are faulty or not functional, please use the warranty procedures listed in our terms and conditions.

Cancellations

If your order has begun its journey through our warehouse fulfilment process, all refunds and cancellations will be subject to the terms of our Returns Policy.

WARRANTY

All goods supplied by bikebugtrade.com are covered by the original manufacturer's warranty. If an item has failed and you believe it to be a claimable warranty, please follow our warranty returns process.

Please note that we endeavour to resolve warranty assessment in a timely manner, however due to the complexity of some products it might need to be returned to the distributor and in some cases the manufacturer for assessment.

All warranties must be submitted to our customer services team. Please contact them via our website contact page here.

  • Please pack your items properly to minimise the risk of it being damaged in transit.
  • Print your packing slip and include it with your return. Our team need this to process the warranty/return.
  • We strongly suggest that a trackable delivery service is used as bikebugtrade.com will not be liable for any goods lost in transit.
  • You will be notified via email once we receive your product.
  • The defective product must be returned and received by us within 14 days of completing and submitting the warranty assessment form.

Outcome of the Warranty assessment

Product found to be defective and under warranty - we will do the following:

  • The products will either be repaired or
  • The product will be replaced or
  • The product purchase price will be refunded where it cannot be repaired or replaced with a similar product.
  • bikebugtrade.com will be responsible for any and all freight costs in returning your product.

Product found not to be defective or covered by the Warranty:

  • You will be notified of this outcome after assessment via email.
  • The product can be returned to you at your expense.
  • Unclaimed items will be stored for 90 days.

Due to health and safety regulations, we request all used products to be cleaned prior to being returned. Clothing needs to be washed before it is returned.

ERRORS & OMISSIONS

bikebugtrade.com takes no responsibility for unintended errors or omissions relating to product descriptions, availability of stock or incorrect pricing. In the event of a significant pricing error, we may at our discretion cancel and refund your order. Providing a full refund shall be the limit of our liability and we cannot be held liable for any consequential loss.

Prices, product descriptions and availability may change without notice. We reserve the right to cancel orders arising from pricing or listing errors. We may cancel an order where a pricing or listing error is material and obvious, even after payment is received.
